Switch 10 is released

Many of the new Switch 10 enhancements have been added to increase performance including, running scripts in separate processes, adding monitoring functionality including, a health indicator, visualizing the general health of your specific Switch Server, network activity pane, giving feedback on network traffic and jobs information pane, visualizing the number of jobs before a specific element.

Switch 10 also offers new tools and functionality related to SwitchClient including new user role “Customer” with limited capabilities to view and monitor jobs in SwitchClient, new user variables to set up 2 way communication between SwitchServer and SwitchClient (or PitStop Connect), and enhancements to set up flows with submit and checkpoints in Switch.

Various other improvements include Sftp support for secure file transfer, mail receive scans for nested attachments and collects them in a job folder, mail receive allows custom port numbers (e.g. support for hotmail and Gmail), support for Windows® 2008 Server R2 Standard or Enterprise Edition and support for Adobe® Acrobat X on Mac.

In addition, www.Crossroads-world.com has been updated, offering a platform for partners and user, on which they can find and post new configurators and flows.
